The small streets in the aged towns and villages are filled up with cathedrals and Baroque palaces. Malta has got the earliest human structures on the globe and is justly described as an open-air museum.
The main island is
Malta. The second largest island is Gozo. It is more rural, and based on fishing, tourists and agriculture. Comino with it's amazing turqouis sea is practically uninhabited but nonetheless wonderful.
